# Modules

> Industry feature sets that your company can turn on

A module adds a feature set for one industry, for example commercial lending or property budgets. A module is for the whole company, not for one user. A module does not depend on your plan.

## The Modules group in the sidebar

The **Modules** group appears in the sidebar only when your company has one or more modules. If your company has no module, the group is not there.

When a module is on, all users of the company see its screens in the **Modules** group:

## Turn on the Lending module

Only an administrator can turn on the Lending module.

**1. Open Capabilities**

In the **Admin** group of the sidebar, click **Capabilities**.

**2. Find the Modules section**

The **Modules** section is at the top of the screen. It shows the **Lending module** and its status.

**3. Click Enable lending**

Click **Enable lending**. The **Credit** and **Financial Spreading** screens appear in the **Modules** group.

To turn the module off, click **Disable**. A user who is not an administrator sees the message **Ask an admin to enable this module.**

## Property budgets

The **Capabilities** screen has no control for the property budget module. If you expected to see **Budgets** and it is not in the sidebar, ask your administrator.
