Setting Up MFA
Open your account settings
Click your profile avatar in the bottom-left corner of the sidebar, then select Account Settings.
Scan the QR code
A QR code will appear on screen. Open your authenticator app (Google Authenticator, Authy, 1Password, or any TOTP-compatible app) and scan the code to add RelayHub.
Enter the verification code
Your authenticator app will display a 6-digit code. Enter it in the verification field to confirm the setup is working.
Logging In with MFA
Once MFA is enabled, the login flow adds one extra step:- Enter your email and password as usual
- When prompted, open your authenticator app and enter the current 6-digit code
- You are logged in after the code is verified
Using Backup Codes
If you cannot access your authenticator app:Each backup code is single-use. After using one, it is permanently consumed. If you are running low on backup codes, disable and re-enable MFA to generate a fresh set.
Disabling MFA
To turn off MFA for your account:- Go to Account Settings > Security
- Click Disable MFA
- Enter your current authenticator code or a backup code to confirm
- MFA is removed from your account immediately

- Authy (iOS, Android, Desktop)
- 1Password (built-in TOTP support)
- Microsoft Authenticator (iOS, Android)
