Node Types
A flow reads left to right and uses four node types from the palette:
A typical flow: Trigger (user asks for a pipeline report) connects to Connect (pull Salesforce opportunities) connects to Think (summarize and rank) connects to Result (PDF report).
Building a Flow
1
Describe it, or start blank
A “Describe my skill” prompt offers to draft the flow from a sentence. Skip it to start with an empty canvas.
2
Place and configure nodes
Click a node type in the left palette to add it. Each node opens an inspector on the right with its settings: trigger phrases for Triggers, service and action for Connects, instructions for Thinks, format and filename for Results. A Think node can also be set to loop with the user until they approve the draft.
3
Wire the nodes
Drag from a node’s handle to the next node. Flows run forward only (no loops back); one node can fan out to several.
4
Validate
Click Validate to check the structure. Issues appear in the bottom panel with a jump-to-node link for each.
5
Build
Click Build skill. Compilation takes about 30 to 60 seconds and produces a real skill, which opens in Skill Studio for review and publishing.
Advanced Settings
The gear icon opens flow-level settings: the run time limit, the step limit, whether the skill may make outside network calls, and which built-in helpers it can use (for example brand-aware PDF rendering or invoking an automation). After building, the flow and the compiled skill are linked but separate. Editing the flow and rebuilding produces a new version of the skill; editing the skill directly in Studio does not change the flow.
