After you sign in for the first time, take some minutes to set up your account. This page tells you how to sign in, how to set your account details and chat preferences, and how to protect your account with two-factor authentication.

Sign in

Type your email address on the sign-in screen. Your administrator decides which sign-in methods your company can use.
Type your password and click Sign In. If you forget your password, click Forgot your password? RelayHub sends you an email with a link to set a new password.Use a strong password that you do not use for other services.

Account details

Click your name at the bottom of the sidebar to open the account menu. Then click Settings. For all the sections of the Settings screen, see Settings.

Set your name

Your name shows in shared conversations and in workspaces. Use your real name, so that other people know who you are. In the Account section, change First Name and Last Name, and click Save Changes.

Add a photo

A photo helps other people find you in shared chats and in the member lists of workspaces. In the Account section, click Change Photo and select an image.

Set the theme

RelayHub has a Light, a Dark and a System theme. System uses the setting of your computer. Choose the theme in the Appearance section. You can also change the theme in the account menu.

Chat preferences

The Chat Preferences section sets the defaults for each new chat. You can change these settings in each chat.

Choose a default model

Select a model in Default Model. RelayHub uses this model when you start a new chat. If your company added its own provider keys or its own model endpoint, those models are also in the list.

Set web search

Enable Web Search lets the AI search the internet for current information before it answers. Turn it on for news, recent data and subjects that change frequently. Turn it off when you want answers only from the AI and your files.

Set the reasoning effort

Reasoning Effort sets how deeply the AI thinks before it answers. It applies to the models that can reason. More effort gives a more thorough analysis, but the answer takes more time.

Two-factor authentication

Two-factor authentication adds a second check when you sign in. You type a code from an authenticator app, for example Google Authenticator, Authy or 1Password.

Open the Security section

Open Settings and click Security.

Start the setup

Click Enable Two-Factor Authentication. Type your password to continue. RelayHub shows a QR code.

Scan the QR code

Scan the QR code with your authenticator app. If you cannot scan it, type the Manual Entry Key in the app. The app shows a new six-digit code every 30 seconds.

Type a code

Type the current six-digit code in Verification Code and click Verify & Enable. Two-factor authentication is now on for your account.
RelayHub does not give you backup codes. Keep your authenticator app safe, or use an app that keeps a copy of your codes. If you lose the device with your authenticator app, ask your administrator for help.
