Create is the screen where you make AI images. You do not work in a chat thread. You work on a canvas where prompts, reference images and results are connected boxes, called nodes. You can try different ideas, use a result as a reference, and see how each image was made. To open it, click Create in the sidebar.
Create and Assets need the Access Creative Tools permission. If you do not see the Create group in your sidebar, ask your administrator to give you this permission.

The canvas

  • Toolbar (at the top): the canvas title, which you can change, the total cost of the canvas, the save status, and the + Prompt and + Ref buttons.
  • Prompt nodes: you write a prompt and choose the settings here.
  • Generation nodes: the images. Each one connects to the prompt that made it.
  • Reference nodes: images that you add to guide an image.
You can move the nodes anywhere. The lines between nodes show which prompt and which references made each result. RelayHub saves your work automatically. The toolbar shows Saving… and then Saved.

Add a prompt node

Click + Prompt in the toolbar. In the Describe what you want to create… box, type a description of the image.

Choose a model

Open the model list. The list groups the models by provider. Each model has a Flash or Pro tag. Google models make images up to 4K. OpenAI and xAI models make images up to 2K.

Choose the settings

  • Aspect ratio: 1:1, 16:9, 9:16, 4:3, 3:4, 2:3 or 3:2
  • Quality: Low, Medium or High. Higher quality costs more and shows more detail.
  • Resolution: 1K, 2K or 4K. The choices depend on the model.

Add references (optional)

Click + Ref to add images, or drag images onto the canvas. Each image can be up to 20 MB. Connect the reference to your prompt node. The model uses it to guide the style, the layout or the subject.

Click Create

The button shows Working while the model makes the image. This usually takes 10 to 60 seconds. The image shows as a new generation node that connects to your prompt.
Each generation node shows its cost. The total on the toolbar changes to show the cost of the canvas.

Use the results

Open the menu on a generation node (Generation options). The menu has these items:
  • Use as reference: makes a new prompt node with this image as its reference, so that you can change the image.
  • Branch to new canvas: starts a new canvas with this image. Your current canvas does not change.
  • Download: saves the full-size image.
  • Delete: removes the image. The cost total of the canvas changes.
RelayHub saves all your images in Assets. Nothing is lost when you close the canvas.
Use Branch to new canvas to try different versions of an idea on separate canvases. The Canvas Manager in Assets lists all of them.
