RelayHub integrates with Microsoft OneDrive, letting you browse and import files from your OneDrive or SharePoint storage directly into conversations and workspaces for AI analysis.

Connecting Your Microsoft Account

1
Open the integrations panel
2
In any chat or workspace, click the cloud import icon in the file attachment area. Select OneDrive from the available connectors.
3
Sign in with Microsoft
4
A Microsoft sign-in window opens. Enter your Microsoft 365 or personal Microsoft account credentials. If your organization uses single sign-on (SSO), you may be redirected through your company’s identity provider.
5
Review the permissions RelayHub is requesting and click Accept. RelayHub requests read-only access to your OneDrive files — it will not create, modify, or delete any files in your Microsoft account.
6
If your organization restricts third-party app consent, your IT administrator may need to approve the RelayHub application before you can connect. Contact your admin if you see a “needs admin approval” message during sign-in.
7
Confirm the connection
8
Once authorization succeeds, the OneDrive file browser appears inside RelayHub showing your files and folders. A green check icon next to the OneDrive option confirms the connection is active.

Browsing and Importing Files

The OneDrive browser works the same way as the Google Drive browser, giving you full access to your file hierarchy.
1
Browse your files
2
The file browser shows your OneDrive root, recent files, and shared items. Navigate into folders by clicking on them, or search for files by name using the search bar. File types, sizes, and last-modified dates are displayed for each item.
3
Select files to import
4
Click individual files to select them. You can select files from multiple folders before importing. Supported formats include PDFs, Word documents (.docx), Excel workbooks (.xlsx), PowerPoint presentations (.pptx), CSV files, and plain text files.
5
Files shared with you by colleagues in OneDrive or SharePoint are accessible through the “Shared” section of the browser. You do not need the file owner to take any action — if you can see it in OneDrive, you can import it into RelayHub.
6
Import and process
7
Click Import Selected to start the import. Files are downloaded from OneDrive and run through RelayHub’s ingestion pipeline: text extraction, chunking, embedding generation, and optional knowledge graph extraction. Processing time depends on file size and type — most documents complete within a few seconds.

What Happens After Import

Once imported, OneDrive files are treated identically to files uploaded directly to RelayHub:
  • Text extraction handles PDFs (including scanned documents via OCR), Office formats, and images.
  • Semantic embeddings enable RAG-powered retrieval so the AI can find relevant content when you ask questions.
  • Knowledge graph entities are extracted automatically when knowledge features are active in your workspace.
Imported files appear in the File Hub and can be attached to any conversation. The AI also retrieves relevant file content automatically during chat when your questions relate to the imported material.

Disconnecting OneDrive

To remove the OneDrive connection:
  1. Open the integrations panel via the cloud import icon.
  2. Click Disconnect next to OneDrive.
  3. Confirm when prompted.
Files already imported into RelayHub are not affected by disconnecting. You can reconnect at any time by repeating the authorization flow.
To fully revoke RelayHub’s access on the Microsoft side, visit your Microsoft account app permissions or ask your IT administrator to revoke consent in the Azure AD admin portal.
