The Messaging Hub connects RelayHub to the chat platforms your team already uses. Once connected, teammates can @mention the RelayHub bot in a channel, get streamed AI answers in a thread, and use your company’s knowledge without opening RelayHub. Open it from Messaging Hub in the sidebar (administrators only).

Supported Platforms

Slack

Mention the bot in any channel; replies stream into the thread.

Microsoft Teams

A Teams bot your organization sideloads and chats with in channels.

Discord

Connects over Discord’s gateway; no public URL required.

Google Chat

Responds to mentions in Google Chat spaces.

Connecting a Platform

1

Click Connect a Platform

Choose your platform. A step-by-step setup guide expands with exactly what to create on the platform side and which values to copy.
2

Enter credentials

Each platform asks for its own identifiers (bot token, app ID, signing secret, and similar). RelayHub encrypts everything you enter.
3

Connect

Click Connect Platform. The installation card appears showing linked users, mapped channels, and the install date. Use Disconnect to remove a platform later.

Linking Users

Messages from a platform need to map to RelayHub accounts so permissions and context apply correctly. The User Linking tab manages this:
  • Auto-Link All matches platform users to RelayHub users by email address in one click
  • Link manually pairs a platform user with a RelayHub account via search
  • Unlink removes a pairing
A platform user who is not linked yet gets a polite reply telling them to ask their admin to link their account.

Mapping Channels

The Channel Mapping tab maps platform channels to RelayHub workspaces. When a channel is mapped, the bot answers using that workspace’s files and knowledge, so the #sales channel can draw on the Sales workspace.
  • Sync Channels discovers channels the bot has joined
  • Map assigns a channel to a workspace; Unmap removes it
  • Channels the bot first sees via a mention are added automatically

Using the Bot

Once set up, anyone linked can:
  1. @mention the bot in a channel; the answer streams into a thread
  2. Reply in the thread to continue, no re-mention needed
  3. Use the /rh command to control the thread:
