The RelayHub Assistant is a built-in product guide that lives in the bottom-right corner of every screen. Ask it how anything in RelayHub works and it answers from the official product documentation, with sources. It can also take you to the right screen or perform a few common actions on your behalf, always with your confirmation first.

Opening the Assistant

Click the floating button in the bottom-right corner of the app. The assistant panel slides open on the right side of the screen (full screen on mobile). The panel header shows RelayHub Assistant with the subtitle Product guide. The panel remembers whether you left it open, and your conversation history loads automatically each time you return.
If you do not see the assistant button, the feature is disabled on your instance. Contact your administrator.

What It Can Answer

The assistant answers questions about how RelayHub works: features, settings, integrations, and how-to guidance. Every answer is grounded in the product documentation, and the assistant cites where the information came from (for example, “see Integrations > Google Drive”). Good starting questions:
  • “How do I connect Google Drive?”
  • “Take me to the Files hub”
  • “What does Dueling Chat do?”
The assistant is a product guide, not a data assistant. It cannot read your files, conversations, or company data. For questions about your own content, use the main chat with Company Data mode.
If the assistant cannot find an answer in the documentation, it says so plainly and suggests contacting support from the user menu. It does not guess.

Actions It Can Take

Beyond answering questions, the assistant can perform a small set of actions: While the assistant works, you see live status rows such as “Searching product docs…” or “Creating workspace…”, each resolving to a checkmark or an error indicator.

Confirmation Cards

Navigation happens immediately because it is harmless and reversible. Anything that creates or changes something shows a confirmation card first. The card summarizes the action (for example, “Create workspace ‘Q3 Planning’?”) and lists the details the assistant intends to use.
  • Click Confirm to run the action.
  • Click Cancel to decline. The assistant acknowledges and moves on.
  • If you do nothing, the request expires after a couple of minutes and is treated as declined. The panel shows “Request expired. Ask again if you still want this.”
Nothing executes without your explicit confirmation.

Choosing a Model

The input area includes the same model picker used in the main chat. The assistant defaults to your saved model preference; you can switch models at any time from the dropdown next to the send button.

Resetting the Conversation

Each user has one persistent assistant thread. It survives page reloads and sign-ins, so you can pick up where you left off. To start fresh, click the New conversation icon in the panel header. The assistant asks “Clear this conversation?” Click Clear to wipe the history or Keep to cancel. Clearing removes the messages; your main chat conversations are not affected.
Assistant conversations are private and never appear in your conversation list, search results, or workspaces.
